Re-watching the extended editions of Lord of the Rings with Beth. No matter how much I liked seeing certain aspects of the books that had been left out, I do have to concede that some of the scenes added back in do tend to drag or tangle the narrative in this format, and I could do without. I just found out that the actor who played the original black power ranger was born in Detroit. This makes me no end of happy.

I've been wanting to write FtM fic for a while, and I think Star Trek or Pinto might be the opportunity for me to do it. I can imagine how I would approach it for each fandom, and even each character. Which means I can't choose, of course. What do you think?

Went down to the Winter Blast last night. It was mucho fun. Met up with a few Wayne State friends, as well as juniper200, who is always spectacular. Here's something I'm really loving about the nu!Trek fandom.
